Home, As I Recalled.

I live in one of the most crowded city in the world. It didn't allow me to stand still and just watch. Night and day it pushes me to keep moving. Warning me that if i stop moving and keep up, I'll be lost and stranded in the sea full of people. I've grown my thick skin and fast thinking here. It's toughness encourage me in crazy ways everyday..

But i have my moments where i could stop and watch. When i took pictures of every corner and center of this city. It stops and turns into places where i always want to come back to. I just hope all these concrete walls doesn't change what I am.

Daily Life

Yesterday when i got stucked in traffic i spotted this old lady walking. The way she walks is very easy and no hurry it seems that she had all the time in the world, while everyone that got stucked in the traffic jam wants to be the first to get out of it they started to honk and rant at each other.

The first thing on my mind is that i want to walk with that old lady and thank God i'm taking a bus ride, so i could just get out of the bus and start walking.

It was a day before the fasting month's over so half of Jakarta towners are heading back to their hometown. The once noisy and hectic city turns quiet and peaceful for a while.

What i love is after i took these photos, the rain is pouring down hard.

For a few weeks I'm temporarily moved to other branch of the bookstore, today's been a good morning and i start taking pictures but i forgot that it was in Black and White mode.
