Revive Life

Life's been crazy and hectic.
The only one that heals my feels are written words.

Lost in Norwegian Wood..

I've never been this worked up reading a fiction, this book is totally blew me away. I am so curious to finish it, i bring it everywhere i go. Now, that i already finish it, i'm losing words. Every characters is so deep and intense, i started to believe that these people is real and how their conversation with each other are very natural.

I have to say i found bits and pieces of my self in every characters, that's why i intensely curious to find out how they deal with problems or people that coming right at them. It's crazy how i feel the same way as Toru when he realize that he's never been open enough to the people he loves, i've made walls like that too in real life. The amount of death, sex and suicide's theme are not portrayed in a strange way but most likely as a part of their life, it circled around them, making them feel weak and fragile everytime. It became undeniable memories that they couldn't get rid off.

People have their own reasons for dying. It might look simple, but it never is. It's just like a rock. What's above ground is only a small part of it. But if you start pulling, it keeps coming and coming. The human mind dwells deep in darkness. Only the person himself knows the real reason, and maybe not even then.

Reading Reminder

I just bought Until I Find You by John Irving, it's a pretty gutsy choice since i haven't read anything from him. But i got a great review on his other books like The Cider House Rules or World According To Garp.
I hope this one amused me.

Reading Reminder.

These three books are stuck somewhere in my room, already read almost half of them. But my mood take charge and stuck my brains on other books.
Got to go look and find them in so many piles of very unimportant stuff in my room.

Kerouac Krazy.

What is the feeling when you're driving away from people, and they recede on the plain till you see their specks dispersing? -it's the too huge world vaulting us, and it's good-bye. But we lean forward to the next crazy venture beneath the skies

Dean took out other pictures. I realized these were all the snapshots which our children would look at someday with wonder, thinking their parents had lived smooth, well-ordered, estabilished-within-the-photo lives and got up in the morning to walk proudly on the sidewalks of life, never dreaming the raggedy madness and riot of our actual lives, our actual night, the hell of it, the senseless nightmare road. All of it inside endless and beginningless emptiness. Pitiful forms of ignorance.

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close

I forgot how many times i've read this book.
I laugh, cry and pretty much sobbing while reading this.

I like to see people reunited, I like to see people run to each other, I like the kissing and the crying, I like the impatience, the stories that the mouth can't tell fast enough, the ears that aren't big enough, the eyes that can't take in all of the change, I like the hugging, the bringing together, the end of missing someone.

In bed that night I invented a special drain that would be underneath every pillow in New York, and would connect to the reservoir. Whenever people cried themselves to sleep, the tears would all go to the same place, and in the morning the weatherman could report if the water level of the Reservoir of Tears had gone up or down, and you could know if New York is in heavy boots.

Summer Crossing

Love the book cover and great story.

Most of life is so dull it is not worth discussing, and it is dull at all ages. When we change our brand of cigarette, move to a new neighborhood, subscribe to a different newspaper, fall in and out of love, we are protesting in ways both frivolous and deep against the not to be diluted dullness of day-to-day living.

Grateful Moments.

A customer that i could chat with about Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac and the Beat generation. How great, at last somebody knew and read about them. Didn't feel like alien anymore. He even said that he would love to lend me Allen Ginsberg book. How great is that... I Just realize how nerdy i am. But it 's also something i grateful for.
