Sticky Notes

Me and my coworkers found sticky notes around our bookstore, we thought it was vandalism but turns out it was kind of cute.
We end up just laugh about it. Because we think anyone who sticks this kind of message is just trying to make people happy.

Summer Crossing

Love the book cover and great story.

Most of life is so dull it is not worth discussing, and it is dull at all ages. When we change our brand of cigarette, move to a new neighborhood, subscribe to a different newspaper, fall in and out of love, we are protesting in ways both frivolous and deep against the not to be diluted dullness of day-to-day living.

Feel Good Song

Au Revoir Simone - Dark Halls

When we got to Boston There was a TV in the room
You were glowing purple, green, red, black and blue
And the light in the night slammed the door
When we went downtown All the babies laughed, clapped at our jokes
And when the doctor called it off You ran straight through the snow
Shut your eyes to see, but you didn't see me

Down in the dark halls We knew that the stark walls said it all
And for the first time I found the lines to a childhood memory:
"We have the choice to breathe and it's gonna be me"
And you may think you lost it Don't even wonder anymore
Erase your mind, turn 'round and slowly walk away
Slam the door

Grateful Moments.

A customer that i could chat with about Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac and the Beat generation. How great, at last somebody knew and read about them. Didn't feel like alien anymore. He even said that he would love to lend me Allen Ginsberg book. How great is that... I Just realize how nerdy i am. But it 's also something i grateful for.

Almost Unreal

Today's been a mix of good and bad things.
I'm barely breathing to catch up with the way life turns.
In one day I've seen
two different sides of people.
two different kind of movie.
Two different stories about one silly rumour at the office.

Behind this Blog.

To fill up my narcissus needs, I've made my second blog on blogger. Please don't ask why i love to blog, it's an addiction and the truth is i couldn't really keep my mouth shut. So, i type now...

My name is Yunita and I'm twenty four. Still in college and trying really hard to finish it. I work at a bookstore, which a lot of friend of mine thinks that working there has no future. For me when i applied for this job it's all about the books, not really about making money but i must admit i do need the money. I have a sister and a brother. Amazing mom and dad, my dad past away last year which make me stop using my last blogger account because all of the memories there reminds me of him it makes me sad all the time.

And I hope this blog last a lot longer than my other blog.

Living in the beloved messy city

Jakarta, you never fail me. Thank you for toughen me up everyday of my life.

Happy Environment

Can't believe I've been working in this bookstore for almost 3 years now. Truth is the thing that i love about this place is the 20% disc. for staff ^_^ No, just kidding about that. Well, i always dream to work around books, so..
the bookstore from the customer service view and the smell of starbucks coffee also the smell of freshly baked bread from the bakery in front of our bookstore.

Life is Fine

I went down to the river,
I set down on the bank.
I tried to think but couldn't, So I jumped in and sank.
I came up once and hollered!
I came up twice and cried!
If that water hadn't a-been so cold I might've sunk and died.
But it was Cold in that water! It was cold!

I took the elevator. Sixteen floors above the ground.
I thought about my baby And thought I would jump down.
I stood there and I hollered! I stood there and I cried!
If it hadn't a-been so high I might've jumped and died.
But it was High up there! It was high!
So since I'm still here livin', I guess I will live on.
I could've died for love-- But for livin' I was born
Though you may hear me holler,
And you may see me cry-- I'll be dogged, sweet baby,
If you gonna see me die.
Life is fine! Fine as wine! Life is fine!

unperfect day turns out perfect

i can't really think of myself as an easily happy person,
but today's been great.

The food, the movie, the picture, the atmosphere, everything is right on it's place.
